"I distrust and very much dislike trial by media."
Then he's chosen a funny line of work.
That thread is astonishing. He seems to have completely forgotten all the times that he's decried the damage to a reputation or career caused by unproved allegations of sexual misconduct.
Ok, ok, that didn't apply to gore, or that french guy. Or slipper.
But the process is the punishment, the mud still sticks and that's why we shouldn't participate in that sort of thing.
Oh, ok, maybe just this once ... more.
Bolt - you're engaging in trial by media. Maybe everyone else is doing it to, but you're either against it or you're not.

Live rat crawls through S-bend of family's toilet Mrs Woods said she knew the rat was there when she heard movement coming from inside the pipes. "I went to the loo and I could hear scratching. I jumped up and thought - this time I’m going to watch. I flushed the toilet straight away and went back, leaving the light on. "It was rearing its ugly head," she said. au.news.yahoo.com/odd/a/-/odd/17558034/family-plagued-by-live-rat-in-toilet/

This offers the best that schoolboy toilet humour could wish for, sorry to lower the tone but...I'm flushed with success.
"There's a movement at the dunny, For the rats had gone away; A turd from Mrs Woods had gone astray.
And had joined the wild bush shitters - she was worth a thousand pound, So all the cracks had gathered to the fray.
All the tried and noted snifters from the stations near and far Had mustered at the dunny overnight,
For the rattities love hard shitting where the wild bush turdies are, And the rat-nose snuffs the battle with delight.
There was Ackerman, who shot his pile when Fartie won the cup, The old man with his bum as white as snow;
But few could fart beside him when his blood was fairly up - He would go wherever turd and man could go.
And Clancy of the Overflow came down to lend a hand, No better plumber ever held the reins;
For never turd could throw him while the panty girths would stand, He learnt to plumb while shitting on the plains."
I apologise in advance. But perhaps it could be continued?

The Aus was out of the blocks Saturday morning playing the national security card Apparently Rudd - by talking about coalition policy was 'risking' conflict with Indonesia. I didn't read the article, but Paul Kelly was wheeled into action. Rudd has used the word 'conflict' which was a big overreach. On Jonathan Holme's sunday morning radio program on RN(Outsiders), it was suggested that this was a deliberate tactic by Rudd to highlight the issue and get everyone talking about Indonesia, and the coalitions policy re towing boats back. I believe most of the criticisms of Rudd, but having an ALP leader who can politicize and issue without it backfiring is a nice change.
