Says Bolt, so I wonder why there aren't any comments. I read
I don't think comments are blocked because of Mirabella's reaction, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, people react to situations in different ways. No, I believe Bolt doesn't want to discuss Q&A full stop, why? Because of Mirabella's appalling performance, she's got nothing and sooner or later even the less intelligent will notice that the Coalition have plenty to say but have no solutions.

Maybe they were just worried about the sort of messages a hospitalised getup representative would attract.
It's just possible that the instant response from the droogs would not show their deeply-held fondness for humanity at its finest.

I agree with robj. Mirabella's reaction is totally understandable given the situation. her first reaction was a bit "don't touch the leper" but by the time people started to move toward to him she had his hand on him offering some sort of support. I've been in that situation quite alot and most people's reaction is the same as Mirabella's. Most people don't know what to do anyway and usually spend a few seconds of confusion and wondering what to do before they react at all.
Mirabella is an odius politician imo, but not cos of her reaction last night.
