Rupert Murdoch and the Jews Michael Wolff His Twitter slip about the 'Jewish-owned press' was revealing – of prejudice, paranoia and neoconism – and none of it is pretty Whoops. Rupert Murdoch's unchaperoned tweeting was bound to get him into trouble. On Saturday, he slipped into an antisemitic usage: "Why is Jewish-owned press so consistently anti-Israel in every crisis?" What Murdoch was doing was trying to channel the right wing's ardent support of Israel by challenging the left wing's more critical view of Israeli brinksmanship – particularly as Israel appears on the verge of another invasion of Gaza. In other words, or so Murdoch seemed to be close to saying, Jews are liberals, and so untrustworthy that they would even betray Israel. (And Wendi appears to be worse.) Curiously, Murdoch's wife Wendi often uses the word "Jewish" in an atonal context – "You Jewish, right? I know you Jewish!" – that makes Murdoch's minders jump.) He may even become more retrograde to bedevil his minders. www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/nov/19/rupert-murdoch-jews-twitter

Blot has just produced this beauty, with no apparent sense of irony.
"Anti-Semitism is such a natural fit with the couch-potato activism of the permanently aggrieved"

I haven't searched exhaustively, but I can't find any references to this tweet story on any of the australian NEWS sites.
Has anyone spotted it? They're usually pretty keen to jump on people who say silly things on twitter.

Mr Boltmann claims "The ABC is at war with Israel too".
Why?
Because they present the opinions of Palestinian propagandists in an effort to be balanced. Such gross examples of decent journalism can't be allowed to offend Boltmann's "Israel can do anything they like" bigotry.
The facts?
"At least 105 people have died in the Gaza Strip in six days of violence, Hamas officials say, as Israeli forces continue their bombardment.
Monday's fatalities include a commander of the Islamic Jihad militant group and a couple and their two small children.
More than 100 rockets were fired on Israel on Monday, but no casualties were reported. Last week, three Israelis died in one such attack."
